Reba Nell McEntire, better known as Reba, was born on March 28, 1955. The country singer rose to popularity in the 1980s with a string of hits that were only the beginning of a long and fruitful career. McEntire is hailed as one of the music industry’s all-time greats. She expanded her resumé to include acting and starring in films alongside Kenny Rogers, Burt Reynolds, and Kevin Bacon after scoring several number-one singles. Her breakthrough role, however, was in the early 2000s sitcom, “Reba.” The show received critical acclaim, becoming one of the highest-rated television series for the network, WB.
